Owner-operators Tom VanGeldren and Mike Garrett both share extensive field and estimating experience. Mike has been in the concrete cutting industry since 1979, and Tom since 1984, when they started as operators. They worked their way through the ranks and into the office, where they took over estimating and business development at an established concrete cutting company. In 2011, they saw an opportunity to venture out independently, which is what they did. On July 5, 2011, Patriot Sawcutting began work on their first job, and they haven’t looked back. They’ve navigated booms in the construction industry, economic downturns, and pandemics, and have always maintained that their workforce and customers’ satisfaction and safety always come first.
